Because of the documentary and creative treatment of the reality of the documentary film, but also the possibility to communicate with a large audience, CHDR participated in the production of several films of that genre. <\/p>\n

The theme of the films were political myths and ideologies of the 20th century. century and the power with which they influenced both the beliefs of social groups and the horrors of the Second World War, as well as wars in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In the documentary series “Factory of Myths”, which was made during 2010-2011. produced by Cityfocus, director Stevan \u017divkov and author of the text Darko Gavrilovi\u0107, based on his book ” Strikes of Fate<\/a> “, published by Stylos, from 2006. , explore the key myths with which Hitler not only ruled the minds of German citizens, but also in the name of which World War II was waged and war crimes committed.<\/p>\n

The broadcast of two episodes of the documentary film in Serbian took place in September 2011. year on the program of RT Vojvodina<\/a> . <\/p>\n

Cityfocus, in cooperation with the Center for History, Democracy and Reconciliation and RT Vojvodina, made a documentary historical film called “Factory of Myths – Myths of Yugoslavia 1918-1991”. The film consists of two episodes, and covers the period from the establishment of the Kingdom of SHS until the collapse of the SFRY. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Through this film, viewers can get a better insight into the history of Yugoslavia and the period that led to its disintegration. <\/p>\n

In all sociological research or surveys of our public opinion about the greatest and most deserving people, Tito often takes first place. For example, in the polls of certain media in Serbia and Croatia, at a time when Slobodan Milo\u0161evi\u0107 and Franjo Tu\u0111man were at the height of their fame, Tito was ahead of them in terms of popularity. Until 2011 In 2003, the only two scientific studies about Tito’s time conducted in Serbia (the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia and the Faculty of Law in Belgrade) gave the same result: “The locksmith was better”, and in a survey by the Zagreb “Nacional” from 2003 year about the greatest Croat, with the participation of over 7,000 readers, Tito is the first, leaving behind Tesla and Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Do we know today what Tito was like as a military leader, statesman and ruler, but also as a man with all his weaknesses? Whatever one’s opinion about Titus, it must be admitted that he is still the subject of much debate. Was Tito of count origin and how much did the “conspiracy theories” blur the true image of him and that time even more?<\/p>\n

The myth that we are important to the world in every sense – geographically, politically, anthropologically, gastronomically – is constantly being dispelled. Some psychologists believe that this sudden jump in self-confidence is caused by the time of Josip Broz Tito. Has the image on television of him superiorly shaking hands with statesmen, kings and queens, and our egos growing as we watch it, made us mythomaniacs?<\/p>\n
