Participants were scholars or educators in the fields of education, history, Jewish studies, human rights or international law, from institutions that are members of the United Nations Academic Impact Programme.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5fc14e3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5fc14e3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The seminar included courses on Holocaust history, Holocaust education, the Eichmann trial and its significance 50 years later, resources and tools for Holocaust education, and the consequences of the Holocaust for the 21st century. century.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9e78bf3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9e78bf3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Director of the Center for History, Democracy and Reconciliation (CHDR), Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/chdr-ns.com\/en\/darko-gavrilovic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Darko Gavrilovi\u0107<\/strong><\/a> , presented a project on <a href=\"https:\/\/chdr-ns.com\/en\/serbian-croatian-relations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the reconciliation program in the region of former Yugoslav countries<\/a> .<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20d4d22 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"20d4d22\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yadvashem.org\/\">Yad Vashem<\/a> , the International School for Holocaust Studies, which hosted the seminar, is dedicated to researching and documenting the history of the Holocaust.  <\/p>\n<p>The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to hear first-hand testimonies of Holocaust survivors and to gain knowledge about ways to educate about this terrible event in order to prevent similar events in the future.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40dbae8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"40dbae8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Seminars like this are important in keeping the memory of the Holocaust alive and spreading knowledge about what happened. Also, they help in education and raising awareness about the importance of human rights and preventing genocide around the world. We hope that such a seminar will continue to be organized in order to preserve the memories of the Holocaust and to prevent its recurrence.
