From 1. to 5. June 2024. In 2008, the Network of Minority Competences from Flensburg, Germany, in cooperation with the Center for History, Democracy and Reconciliation, organized a study trip and meetings with representatives of minority parties from the border areas of Germany and Denmark. The trip was intended for participants from the region of Southeast Europe, in order to learn about reconciliation policies and ways of commemorating the victims of conflicts that Germany and Denmark had in the past.<\/p>

During the trip, the participants had the opportunity to talk with scientists from the University of Southern Denmark, as well as with scientists from the European Center for Minority Affairs in Flensburg.<\/p>

The study trip included visits to places of memory, minority museums, as well as talks with high-ranking representatives of minority parties and local authorities. This event allowed the participants to directly see successful examples of reconciliation and cooperation between different ethnic and cultural communities, as well as to take valuable lessons that they can apply in their local environments.<\/p>

Thanks to these initiatives, the Center for History, Democracy and Reconciliation continues to build bridges of understanding and cooperation, promoting inclusiveness and respect for diversity in society. This study visit represents a significant step towards strengthening capacities for effective management of minority issues and improvement of reconciliation policies in the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
